Cindy Dyson is nothing like any character in her books. She wouldn’t even hang with people who were anything like characters in her books. While she is blonde and did grow up in Alaska, any resemblances to ASW characters are just rumors started by questionable friends. As resemblances to rock stars, past or present, are rumors she likely started. Although she is a member of a RGB (Real Girl Band, electric guitar), Marmalade Superlove, she's not very good.
Dyson is a respectable member of her of community in Whitefish, MT. She has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and was a reporter for a few years. She wrote scads of magazine articles, and is still doing diving articles so she can write off the expense. She wrote eight nonfiction work-for-hire kids’ books, including the high acclaimed Rare and Interesting Stamps and biographies of Langston Huges, Stephen King, and Lalia Alli. Mostly she’s a mom, a runner (training for first marathon), and a shirker of anything that requires cleaning, cooking, patience, and teamwork.
